17th Annual Skyline Blue Grass Festival May 3-5

Enjoy the traditional and lively sounds of bluegrass at the annual Skyline Bluegrass Festival at Wewoka Lake Park. Over 500 music-lovers of all ages will come together to share their music with festival attendees in a family friendly atmosphere. Bluegrass instrument workshops will be available on Friday afternoon and multiple bands will perform daily at the 3-day festival. A Bluegrass Gospel Concert is planned for Thursday evening. Festival hours are 7:00 – 10:30 PM Thursday and Friday, and 1:00 – 10:30 PM Saturday. Admission is $10 on Thursday and Friday, $12 on Saturday, 3-Day Pass is available for $30, and children 12 and under are free. Click here for more info.

Cedar Street Blues & Jazz Festival in Historic Downtown Wewoka

This annual event features fun for the entire family from 7:30 PM to 1:00 AM in downtown Wewoka. An evening of live music featuring blues and jazz entertainment from local Oklahoma talent, a wine tasting, bar, Cajun food, a crawfish boil and a spectacular fireworks show at 10:00 PM. Featured bands for this year’s event are Motown Alex, 2’nd Generation, Roland Bowling Band and Garrett “Big G” Jacobson. Advance tickets are available from the Wewoka Chamber of Commerce for $8.00 per person or for $10.00 at the entrance gate the day of the event. Bus and motorcoach parking is also available.
